What about those UFOs that should have been conpleted in 2017?

Don't stress too much, just add them to your 2018 list and celebrate your creativity!

Now that the mad Christmas rush is over I remembered I had not posted the photos from our last meeting when we celebrated Kay's special O birthday.  So here they are!

May 2018 have some amazing happy times for you Kay!

Di brought along her newest creations which had us all celebrating her great skills with this collage wall hanging.  Be wowed by the detail in the closeup!

And then >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

On the night we had a small display of Christmas crafts that we had created over the years.  It was a little trip down memory lane including some of our Christmas in July challenges.

And finally, happiness to each of you and your families for 2018.  May it be good one.

Tonight I had the pleasure of attending Hume Council's presentation night. We were given a brief snap shot of the diversity of programs available in the City of Hume.
Sunbury Stitchers and Quilters were presented with a cheque for $1300. This goes a long way to meeting our committments for the hire of venues and insurance. We thank the City of Hume for the grant to assist our operations.

Christmas Dinner Delights

Thanks to Robyn for organising this year's Christmas dinner at Sunata's Thai restaurant.  The food was delicious and we loved our beautiful fat quarter present.

There was great variation in the little pressies we exchanged and everyone seemed delighted with what they received.

Enjoy the following photos and take notice of the ones who continually misbehave.  No names mentioned!

Christmas is coming!

It is that amazing busy time of the year when we all get overcome with the things we need to do and the planning it takes.  It all gets to be too much.  At least one of us is organised.  Robyn has sent me a couple photos of Elsa's Christmas jelly roll quilt.  Well done Elsa!

Hope to see many of you at our Christmas dinner on Tuesday night.  I have made my little pressie to exchange and have it all wrapped and ready to go!
