Quilt In - Show n Tell Part 3

Annie Couzens' Farmer's Wife quilt.  Annie had never done hand piecing before so as a challenge to herself decided to hand piece this quilt.  She also hand quilted it.

Andrea Sheddick's Farmer's Wife quilt.  Andrea has added a pram block that doesn't appear in the book to remember that the year was the one she became a nanna for the first time!

Elizabeth Brown's Around the Garden made for her grand daughter.  This quilt was hand made by herself and machine quilted by the baby's great aunt.

Jocelyn Coward's Box of Roses.  Made after a workshop where Jocelyn learned many new techniques.

Esmae Mazzei's I Love a Sunburnt Country.  This began life as a much loved and used tablecloth embroidered by Esmae's aunt in 3 weeks!  Esmae used the tablecloth, added borders and had it quilted for the Sunbury Stitchers retreat challenge,

Evelyn Nutkins' Crazy Scrappy Makes Me Happy.  This quilt was a Chinese Whispers challenge and each block was made by a different quilter at our group.

Glo Jacobs' Sunflowers.  A lady called Hilda Mason, 80 years old at the time, made this quilt for Glo in Nova Scotia, Canada.  It's hand stitched and hand quilted and one of Glo's favourite quilts.

Lynette Peucker's Growing Tumbling Blocks.  This quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted and Lyn used reproduction fabrics to create a shading effect using one colour then another.

Lynette Peucker's Ruby's Dolls House made during our group's Chinese Whisper challenge.

Barbara Brown's Fairies.  This candlewicking quilt was made for Barbara's grand daughter.
