Our Saturday ladies have been busy. Elsa has a love of making baby quilts for Sunshine Hospital. She brought along 21, along with those made by Evelyn, half our quota for the year. A huge well done and thank you. There will be photos when we get them together.

Judy Anderson showed us another finished project. Maybe a broken toe has a benefit!

Lyn Staub has been busy too. She had some lovely fabric with 1950 ladies on and had uses them along with hexies to make a great unusual quilt. She had also used some bigger hexy flowers to turn into a pretty small quilt. This was just from scrap materials.

Jo Anderton has been working on this quilt for some time. She has been learning free motion quilting and has used her new skills on this quilt . WELL DONE
Jo's Quilt

Ann McWaters was persuaded to make a quilt for someone. It is not often we do this, usually our quilts are gifted. The person had supplied the fabric a beautiful story book.

Meanwhile Evelyn showed us ALL 21 of the baby quilts she had completed. She is a worderful supporter of Sunshine Hospital. She had used left over blocks from "Farmers Wife" and the last of Joy's orphan blocks. We are all very proud of her donation.
Please bring them on Saturday so I can take photos.
My resolution for 2018 to be more organized already gone!!!!

Welcome to 2018.

Hope everyone had a great break, Christmas has come and gone, things are settling and routines are returning.

Our Tuesday night get togethers are back. It is a great place to relax, have a cuppa and sew or in my case unpick again! Saturdays too are back. There is one this week end 27th, I know it is a long week end but our dates are set.

I am way behind with photos so must gather them up. Robyn was busy and showed us a "quick quilt she wizzed up"

Our meetings are a great place to share your work. It inspires others too so please any meeting is share time.

I would like to wecome Carole Cooke a new member who will attend on Saturdays.

I have received some info which you may be interested in but I think it clashes with another event.
