Saturday Sit n Sew

Saturday
Evelyn must have steam coming from her quilting room as the finished quilts are coming out thick and fast. She is really mastering the use of her long arm quilter and finishing those UFOs. WELL DONE

Is realky great to see Andrea and for her to share her beautiful work. The blues look lovely and the hand work I know has taken her a time.

Another blue and white quilt and the picture does not do it justice. The hand quilting is wonderful. This was made by Karen and a huge congratulations. Lovely to catch up with you again.

All Aboard the Bus

It is nearly a week since our rainy day bus trip so I better hurry and post the few photos I took. As usual there are happy faces dreaming about their next project and the urgent need to empty our purses of our spare cash. Thank goodness for credit cards!

We visited four shops in Ballarat before heading off to Ballan and our tasty lunch at Mill Rose Cottage.

Ready to go!
Take 2! Sheila was told to smile and she did!
Nice to have Julie rejoining us!

It was good to see Lyn back from her world travels but  and I can't
remember if she or Andrea bought the bird feeder.
This project and others caught the eye of many of us in this lovely shop

This was a very quirky little shop with a mixture of old and new!
Someone scored an old suitcase for some creative adventure.

The appliqué technique on this quilt had us all guessing!
We finally worked it out!

Mill Rose Cottage - what a selection!

Thanks for organising us Gail!  It is no easy feat!
