First Meeting for 2023

 Now we really are back to business. A great meeting with plans made for activities for the year. If you are a member make sure we have an up to date email address and you will have access to all the details.

Hong is relatively new to the club and it is great to see her completed quilt top. It is an interesting pattern with lots of hidden designs

Sheila completed this quilt some time ago but was making some adjustments to the hanging sleeve. It is a called Red Delicious am Esther Aliu pattern. It is needleturned and quilted on her domestic machine. 

                                     

This is Fiona's work, it is Christmas inspired and she has spent time working on embroidery stitches by hand.

Annie Micallef completed this at a Saturday workshop. She had used scraps from the the fabrics used for the front to piece and make the backing.

Welcome to 2023

Welcome to 2023.

Well it has been a busy start to the year and we have been very tardy with our blogs but hopefully in the next few weeks we will pick up.  

We have a retreat coming up in early March so watch this space for the fun and games we get up to and of the course the quilting projects.

Don’t forget if you have any ideas of workshops or small projects we can share, let us know and we will try to follow up on them.

Sheila brought along her completed quilt which she sewed during her trip to and from Western Australia.

The Blocks show Hexi’s ,Tumbling blocks, Beautiful use of Doilies and embroidery.

Annie Also brought her Giraffe Quilt for show and tell, nice bright colours.wonder who this will go to?
