27th June was our Hands on Hands day out with a workshop to show us how to do Sashiko.  It was a fun morning, with lots of laughter, chatting and snacking.  As you can see from the photos lots of concentrating was also happening. Hopefully we will see some finished samplers next Tuesday .

20th June some belated show and tell.

Sheila brought along some more of her stunning fabric Art work this time inspired by their trip to Norfolk Island.  She is doing one for her Sister in laws and fellow travellers.

This is a quilt we Robyn and Ann didn’t have a pattern for,  at our recent retreat so we sat down and drafted one.   Almost completed just the binding to finish.

Apologies for the delay. Google locked me out and then sent text messages everywhere for me to recover it. Finally I am back in and now to update the blog. Life just gets harder or technology is getting beyond me. Once I finally got in it I couldn't access the photos! Nothing would upload!!! Maybe it is me. Any volunteers for blogging

This is the Nutcracker I was going to give a friend for Christmas but I never finished it. So I am ready for next Christmas! It is a Helen Godden pattern which was fun to do, the character is painted and then quilted.

Margarets, Heartstrings Quilts custom quilted by quilted by Kerri at Macedon.   Many of us have made this quilt but it is just lovely. Margaret should be very proud of this one

Ann Micaleff s quilt for her granddaughter who loves turtles.

This is another one of my quilts. I completed it a while ago but have never put it on the blog. It is a Mandala quilt. The pattern was by Rachelle Denneney. It was a block of the month which took me most of last year. I quilted it myself on a domestic machine. It looks destined to live on the couch.
