Tuesday 8th August

 I wanted to trial the blog as it has been very badly behaved and uncooperative. Yes I know it is probably the user.

 Well another successful retreat over and done, what a fun filled four days we had.  Lots of projects done, some interesting conversations and the problems of the world we solved lol. Not to forget the yummy food consumed all weekend.  Below are the projects worked on and completed.

Jan Produced This beautiful quilt she is going to keep for herself beautiful work Jan fully patchworked and quilted over the retreat

Di worked on her chandelier quilt. Another stunning quilt beautiful colours 


Ann worked on this monster quilt with Kaffe Fasset fabrics it is a King  Bed quilt made for her daughters friend.
Cheryl worked on this project which she has had for a few years, it is now completed.  We all loved it.
Cheryl also completed her pin cushion just before she left for her cultural visit to the Ballet. 
Rosie brought along a completed quilt top to show us

Rosie worked on her Kilmore Quilters challenge quilt.  Beautiful work Rosie
Mary got this quilt back from Kerry the quilter so she quickly completed the binding 
Mary also completed this quilt top 
Exercise class for sore backs after long days at the machines
Some serious iPad words with friends gaming happening here.  

As you can see a good time was had by all. Robbie was there our Helping hand for all working out measurement,patterns and the never ending unpicking

I have to apologize for my tardiness in posting the blog but better late than never, I have included below some of the beautiful work our members have been working on over the past month.  





Fiona made this  quilt  for a family member and gifted  recently a beautiful job.


Just love the colour choices in this 
Work still being completed on our Sashiko.  
Sandra brought her Candlewicking quilts along for us to see unfortunately the photo did not do it justice but I can assure you it was beautifully done.
Caroline one of newest members brought in her current blocks she is working on as show and tell.
Cheryl showed us her compendium of small projects she is working on at the moment.
Sandra also had some small projects from a recent workshop she attended to show
Janice once again stunned us with her amazing work on another shawl.  Beautiful work Janice
Some more completed Sashiko projects after our workshop.
 

Fiona had one of her first ever quilts she made for her daughter with her as show and tell last night .  

Thank you Ladies we are always interested in what you are doing no matter how small or big.. if you are out and about and see something that may interest us send it thru and we will tell the other members.
