Have a very Merry Christmas!

 Post written by Evelyn

It's a busy time of the year and busier still for those frantically finishing off handmade gifts for Christmas!

Before I show you any of the beautiful work some of our ladies have done, Margaret told me that making her quilts helped her get through this difficult time and she would like to thank Janette for helping and supporting her through this.  Margaret says that she would have found life hard going without Janette's help.  I hope each and every one of us has found our own support over the last months.

Click on the pictures to enlarge them.  You're in for a treat!

Margaret made this flower quilt for her granddaughter.

This Shop Hop quilt is a machine embroidery design by Anita Goodesign.

This Mylar Spring quilt is also by Anita Goodesign.

And another by Anita Goodesign called Christmas town.  Margaret has been very busy!  She's also finished her shirt challenge and hopefully soon we'll be able to see them all!

Here's Kay frantically finishing off a gift.  It's a hard life!

This train quilt started life as a panel.  It's for Kay's daughter's in laws.

Kay made this quilt for her daughter in law.  It's called silver lining by Jacquelynne Steves.

Robyn has been busy! She's made this reversible baby quilt for her daughter's friend.

This is a gift for Robyn's 93 year old mum.

Robyn has made this table runner for her daughter.

Ann made this batik stained glass quilt.  It's similar to the one hanging at The retreat in Gisborne but it's amazing how different fabrics makes it look like  a different design!

Gail started this quilt top at retreat.  It's been quilted with several spirals and will be a gift for a lovely lady who helped out during lockdown.

This bag is a gift for Gail's mum.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!  Hope to see you all in the New Year!
