Show and Tell 4th April

Robbie brought along her Dilly bag made from a fat quarter with a little extra on the bottom,  love the quilted base.  She is using this for her lamp bag.

Last night at our meeting Rosie brought along a special show and tell for us all. Back in 2010 yes 2010, the club had a mystery challenge where participants were asked to take material from the bag and make the blocks as show here on the table and return them to Rosie when finished.  As you can see lots of different colour combinations were created.

As a club we will be looking to having some more of these fun activities which take up some of our left over stash and gets us together,  if you have any ideas mention them on Tuesday night, we are always open to new ideas.  

 

Also on Tuesday some of our members attended an informal workshop and did some fabric painting of The Nutcracker,
